Returns Policy

We have a no quibble returns policy. If you are not entirely delighted with the product that you have ordered you must inform us within 3 days of receipt and return them to us in their original condition and packaging within 14 days. We will give you a full refund less delivery and collection costs.


When ordering from Athena's Emporium please make sure you measure your intended space for your purchase, to avoid unnecessary returns. The measurements of each item are clearly displayed on the product page.

All our products are carefully packaged to avoid any damage during transit, however, due to the delicate nature of some of the products, unfortunately no matter how carefully an item is packaged on very few occasions some may get damaged in transit.  Should there be a need to replace the product please contact Athena’s Emporium at and we will gladly provide a replacement. The company will not be liable for any damaged caused by incorrect assembly. All claims for damaged goods must be made within 3 days of receipt.


Every item is checked prior to dispatch, and will then be delivered to your door. Customers are then required to unpack the item and to check the goods have not been damaged in transit. He will then ask you to sign to agree you have received them in perfect condition. We will not accept liability for damaged goods after the driver has left.


For all returns with the exception of faulty goods you will be required to pay the delivery and return costs.


Before returning any products to us, please contact us at, advising us of the reason for your return, we will then promptly respond to you to arrange your collection.





Most items are delivered by a Courier. Courier companies do usually need a signature for delivery, or you can request your parcel to be left with a neighbour or in a safe place at your own risk, just note this information on your order. If you are not home to take delivery of your parcel, they can only hold your parcel for 7 days, so if you miss your delivery, always contact them as soon as possible to rearrange delivery.

(Smaller items will be delivered by Royal Mail. They should take no more than 5 working days to reach you, but please allow up to 10 working days before contacting us to report your parcel as missing)


The only exceptions are Larger items such as furniture and mirrors over 30 inches high, which are sent with a specialist fragile handling courier and will take longer as they deliver directly from us to you to avoid damage and we have to allow 5-14 days (most deliveries are within 10 days, 10 extra days is mainly for very remote locations in order to fill a van to cover one area.


Out of stock items will be advised as such on purchase and will be dispatched as soon as they become available. We rely on supplier’s information on delivery dates of out of stock items and sometimes this information can change at short notice but we will endeavour to advise you if this happens as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.




Mainland UK - The delivery charge is calculated at check out and differs from each item.


Furniture delivery

Furniture is sent via a furniture courier not a   parcel firm. Our couriers are dedicated furniture couriers and are fully insured


Delivery is usually* always within 7- 14 days of payment, though allow up to 7 days longer for areas of greater distance from ourselves to remote areas.


Please always provide us with a contact telephone number as this delays deliveries being shipped by the courier as they need to contact you to arrange delivery you must provide at least 1 phone number on your order before furniture deliveries can be released to the delivery company. Ideally please provide a delivery address land-line number and a mobile number.


The delivery service is a “green service”, based on consolidating deliveries within the same area.  Delivery will be a lot faster to highly populated areas, and the innermost parts of the country and may be slower to the more remote regions as mentioned above.


Delivery will be by one driver, so may require assistance with larger items.


The buyer must be available to accept delivery at the pre-arranged time. If you are not able to be in to take delivery, you can request the item be left with a neighbour or in a safe place of your choosing. If none of these options is suitable, delivery can be rescheduled when our driver next visits your area, so please allow longer in these cases.
